Hyden Health and Rehabilitation Center is proud to announce their certificate of achievement from The American Health Care Association for their work to improve quality care. On December 16, 2019, the Washington, D.C. office announced that 3,241 skilled facilities nationwide had achieved Tier 3 Recognition status.
This facility was specifically recognized for improving functional outcomes (mobility) by at least 15%, improving long stay and short stay satisfaction by achieving a rate of 90% or greater customer satisfaction, and safely reducing the use of off label antipsychotics by 10% or maintaining a rate of 8% or less in long stay patients and 1% in short stay residents.
A formal ceremony will be held on March 10 in Texas at the AHCA Quality Summit. The certificate will be on display at the facility as a reminder of the commitment to improving quality care.
